Detroit's Stamp out the Beatles campaign taken a bit further:
Don't ask me, I was just procrastinating again!Don't let democracy end democracy.

Wow, Brammy, 2016!
You'd think they were a Satanic metal band. The Beatles are probably considered more insidious by some.
Harrison's quote feels more relevant to my existence.
The photo of Brian wearing the shirt is new to me!

Yes, unfortunately, the Beatles have also been accused of being the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse from the Book of Revelation:Kiddwad57 wrote:Wow, Brammy, 2016!

The only sure things..... death, taxes, and religious insanity.
BTW.... I just watched YESTERDAY. Fun movie. Better than I had expected.

Scott, That's some convincing literature. It's obviously going to take repeated listenings to discover every bit of evidence of the Beatles' Satanic chicanery. Fortunately their music is so enjoyable I'll probably lose myself in it. Start playing it backwards while reading my horoscope and trying to figure out my life with a ouija board for tips when betting on dark horses. Heaven forbid, just don't go to any rock music benefits for the hungry...
I haven't gotten to Yesterday yet. It'll happen though!
I really liked the one, a few years ago, where the gal stitched together a movie out of all the Beatles songs. I Want You, She's So Heavy was a great scene, that and Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite.

What is most sad is all four had either religious backgrounds or followed some sort of spiritual discipline:Kiddwad57 wrote:Scott, That's some convincing literature. John: confirmed as a teenager as a member of the Church of England, went through his demons, finally acknowledging he believed in life after death
Paul: raised Roman Catholic (hence the confusion in the song "Let it Be," which is actually about his mother, not the BVM)
George: raised Roman Catholic; his Eastern spirituality is well known
Ringo: raised Church of England; his current Evangelical position is well documented.
Yes, they all went through their "time in the desert," with Paul's comments about agnosticism and John's prediction of the end of organized religion, and Ringo's drifting, but they all came back around, and, well, whether they are or were or aren't or were not the most observant of religious persons, they are definitely not "the four horsemen of the apocalypse! Remember that anybody can form an argument for a position from any resource. The thing most people don't do is to see if those same set of facts can be argued in the other direction, especially from the context of the rest of their lives, their benevolent and charitable works, etc. This, the author of the link, did not do.

Do you remember the name of the movie?

A great photo of John Lennon and his Rickenbacker 325/12.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
great shot indeed..... the 325 is so small. Even the 6 string is hard to play. John must have had small hands.admin wrote:A great photo of John Lennon and his Rickenbacker 325/12.
