The Beatles appeared twice at the Northampton ABC (as it then was),
27 March 1963 and 6 November 1963, which was just after their Royal Command Performance.

I found a mention about these photos: "It was taken by Michel Le Tac and published in French weekly Paris Match end of June 1965. It was taken on the 20th of June when the played at the Palais Des Sports in Paris".

I checked..... yes, they did play there on that night. Also on the bill were The Yardbirds.

At the time, the lineup for The Yardbirds was
Keith Relf - vocals/harp
Jeff Beck - lead guitar
Chris Dreja - rhythm guitar
Paul Samwell-Smith - bass guitar
Jim McCarty - drums

1963 was a very very good year for The Beatles

1964 wasn't bad either.... see where George's strap comes undone.....

George often had to wear more stage makeup than the others in the Beatles’ early days because he had the worst skin problems. You often see candid, everyday pics of younger George with quite a lot of blemishes. This photo from the set of A Hard Days Night.

According to Tony Barrow in his book, John, Paul,George,Ringo and Me, the True Story of the Beatles, George once made a confession about what his ultimate fantasy would be: Unlimited sex all hours of the day or night.
