Thankfully no!

I live about 6 miles from the track, I pass it every day, the very few roads that lead to the track are all "one lane each way", traffic is gonna be insane! The track is located out in a rural/farm area southeast of the airport, and the roads are made for the occassional pickup truck or tractor, and of course since there's been months of heavy equipment driving up and down 'em I imagine they're in sad shape now too. There has been NO attempt to improve access to the track, unless you wanna helicopter in, the city has approved a few extra helicopter pads around town.

It's gonna be a HUGE mess.

Sounds like they modeled the Circuit Of The Americas after Silverstone! Well, I'll be watching the race from the comfort of my living room with bass in hand to noodle on. 8)

What I find interesting is the race course is in Elroy, not Austin. Imagine. the Elroy Grand Prix!

Yep, I'm sure most everyone in Austin had never heard of Elroy before the track.
