We are now auditioning drummers for our musical tribute to the Beatles...we are called Rooftop, and we focus on the rooftop concert, white album, and later in the musical catalogue. We don't wear wigs, costumes or sgt pepper outfits, nor have fake accents. We have the rooftop gear (two 1969 Fender twin reverbs with the ac568 circuit, 1968 fender bassman, golden slumbers kit, 1972 fender Rhodes, etc...)
We are in the Chicago/Northwest Indiana area if any Ringo's out there that are interested. Our vision is to play the songs note for note and have the tonality from the instruments.
PM me if interested. Thanks board members!!!!

Auditioning Drummers for Beatles tribute
Re: Auditioning Drummers for Beatles tribute
Great job.... good luck finding your Ringo. If you'd allow me one critical observation...... I think you should should stand closer together.... y'all are too spread out..... just my 2 cents.

Cut that stage in half.
Re: Auditioning Drummers for Beatles tribute
Any one know of a forum or website for musicians looking to join a Beatles tribute/cover band?
I've searched online and no luck so far. I'm in the US.

You're not kidding about being spread out. I didn't realize it till we started singing. Next show we will be probably cramped!
Thanks for the kind words. Believe it or not I found a drummer to play Ringo. A self-made musicologist who delves into all about music. He really knows a lot about Ringo and his playing. Thank God, someone as geeky as me!
