My new job - Vegas with Pat DiNizio!
Hello all -
Effective immediately, I will be performing with Pat DiNizio of The Smithereens in his Confessions Of A Rock Star show in Las Vegas, Nevada!
Pat has long been a friend and mentor, and he recently asked me to join his group for his stint in Vegas. After some soul-searching and working through a long list of logistics, I accepted. I arrive in NV this week to get situated and begin rehearsals, and the show opens on November 2nd.
We’ll be performing mostly Smithereens material, sandwiched with tales from Pat’s illustrious past, a couple of covers, and some fancy visual aides. The show runs six nights a week at The Riviera Casino & Hotel.
Needless to say, if you’re planning a trip to Vegas, we’d love to see you there. Let me know if you’re headed over!
Technical notes: I’ll be playing bass for the show, alternating between my trusty Rickenbacker 4001 and some 12-string bass. (Thanks to forumite Kevin Donaker-Ring for the temporary use of his Hamer 12!) Pat will be on guitar, and Nate Stalfa will join us on drums.
Thanks as always for your support, and I hope to see you all soon!
