BMI here. I found them useful as they collected royalties for us on our original tunes just for playing live. We ran into a band on tour and they wanted to use two of our songs. The following year, they gave us a list of almost 50 cities they played the songs in and BMI got us paid on it. This may be insignificant to some but, to me every dollar counts.

That said, I heard sesac is the deal

Wow, I got my BMI membership email in just 2 days. Now we can get on with the intended goal that we had in the first place. I do like the BMI website so far.

Cool, I see that Bob Dylan and Niel Diamond are with sesac. As you folks have stated, a lot of folks locally are with BMI. I am happy with that for now.
