Motel California

With a band name like Motel California, I'll bet you can't guess whose music we enjoy performing:

A. The Eagles
B. Linda Ronstadt
C. Jackson Browne
D. All of the above

If you answered "D" and happen live in Big D (Dallas, TX) then you're invited to hear us this Friday night, April 22nd at Poor David's Pub. PDP is one of the BEST live music halls in Dallas; great stage and green room, great house sound, and audiences who are there to LISTEN !! About 350 seats. Downbeat at 8:30. $10 cover.

My old band in Memphis did a bunch of Ronstadt covers. My favorite was "you're no good".

Thanks Woody. "You're no Good" is certainly the most popular with our crowd, but I have more fun with either "Tumblin' Dice" or " Willin' "

A couple bands I was in did a few Eagles songs, and my first one also did Willin'; we kind of did our own version of it, I played mountain dulcimer on that song!
