I meant the top one, but I think I see the title above it.

Nice vids Spike. If you're concerned about being out of tune, make sure the intonation is set correctly, especially for the strings you are using. I like to use GHS boomers as they seem to not get so cruddy for me over time (for me). And I'm cheap so I don't like to change strings too often!

Also, stop posting pictures and videos of 480s! You're getting everybody interested in them, which drives up the price and limits their availability, and you and I will not be able to hoard then up!!
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).

I repaired much of the bridge components on my 480 and setup the intonation myself. Aside from the strings being a little dead, it sounded fine to me. But when people start telling me it's "horribly out of tune, I can't even listen to it" I don't know what to think.

That's rock and roll so keep on rock'n Spike. Besides youtube tends to really compress everything anyway.

I removed the short demo, I want to do something more comprehensive and detailed than the 30 seconds or so of me fiddling around infront of the camera.

I'm planning a guitar/bass video with a friend and i'll be using the 480 for it so i'll add that when I have it done.

Bumping with some content. I recently replaced my entire recording setup with a new, higher quality mic and preamp. It's just some quick improving to test that everything works, and tweak the sound. This captures the sound of the guitar much more accurately than the old setup, i'm still learning how to use everything properly but overall i'm pretty excited.

I put up a new cover using my new recording equipment. Amp is mic'd, and the backing music is mixed in. I also used a new video codec on my encoding program to get better quality video.

Thanks! 8)

I'm still learning the secrets of mic placement but I think it turned out pretty good.

Copyright issues, you know. The sound was edited in from a copyrighted source.

Nobody can get those sounds out of a 480... it's well known
