Here's a single camera video of us playing a Beatles tune at our last show. Should we continue with doing the Beatles or just stick to the Byrds?
She Said She Said - The Byrds Collective
Re: She Said She Said - The Byrds Collective
You guys nailed it! If you're going to change the band name, please use "ByrdBeat Collective" and not the other way around. I don't want to have to deal with all of the fan mail. Great job, Pat. It was cool seeing the whole band there at SCARF. Is Mark going to be renamed John McGuinn or Roger Lennon? Tom
It's a Byrd, it's a playin'..........

Great arrangement. I think you guys should keep it in the set list. Do what you want to do, and keep up the good work.

Nicely done. The Telecaster sounds bit too much like a Telecaster so it's kind of Danny Gatton meets The Beatles. Maybe just the single camera mike overplaying the treble. But I would definitely keep that song and arrangement in your sets. Try a few more too! You guys have such great harmony there's a lot of Beatles material you can pull off (Nowhere Man for instance).

Sounds real nice, Pat. Definitely keep it in your set list.
Now I'm going to check out those other Beatles covers you guys posted.
Thanks again for coming to SCARF and adding so much to the festivities !!

Ditto what the other folks said; sounds killer, keep it in the set. I love that number, and you play it well; I'd dirty and slightly fatten up the Tele part, but the playing is sweet, the riffs are spot on perfect, and his volume is just right.
There is no reason to ever be bored.
