Pictures of Lily (guitar mutilation)

Post by Mr.Fingers »

I was thinking. I have this guitar 3 days now, enough time for me to adapt to the awkward stringspacing and the humongous amount of strings, I'll give it a go. It didn't come out too bad. Pete recorded this song on his 360/12 MapleGlo back in the days, so yeah, it's "pretty accurate", gearwise.

You didn't do the French horn part................just kidding. Sounded great. It's a bit tough making a video and playing to a CD at the same time but you have all the parts down.

Good job! That's a fun one. So you've had your first rick twelver for three days now? Like Bogey said, Louie, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Ricks are different, that's for sure, but it's worth it to get used to them.

Not really my first 12-er. I used to own a 360/12 some years back, but I sold that one because it really had a VERY slim neck, and with my 6.5 feet, and dito hands, it really was a bit too narrow... This 370 has got a little more "meat" on the neck, just what I need. The neck of a 660/12 is perfect for me, but... They don't give that neck on the 300-series

OK, cool. Well I'm glad it's working out for you this time. It sounds great and you've done a fine job of doing Pete 8) .

Ditto. I'm a The Who freak and that's one of my favorites for that band. You make a good Pete. And I agree, I had a 370-12 (see avatar) and loved the neck on that one. Plus they sound good even without an amp.

There was a special one of 300 series that had a 660 neck on it. Its the gunmetal one IIRC.
