This is horrible news
We met with Ken and Lorie a few times when we visited Michigan. Ken was a wonderful person. Very smart and very kind.

R.I.P Dear friend. You will be missed very much.

My wife is from Royal Oak, MI. We go there often to visit family. Through the RRF I met Kevin Kuney several years ago and realized that he was
from the same general area. We would often meet for lunch and that's where Kevin introduced me to Ken. Ken and I hit it off right away ( as did
Kevin and myself ). He was just a great, great guy. It even turns out he grew up just next door to my wife.....small world sometimes. We will dearly miss
you, Ken. You certainly had a positive effect on me and I'm sure you did on everyone you met. The pain is over now, buddy......Rest In Peace.

Sincere condolences to Ken Joseph's family and many friends worldwide. I never knew Ken personally, but I do know that he made a major contribution during his 10 years active involvement in the RRF (a milestone which he passed in July this year).

I was unaware of his health problems before now, but it is surely a measure of the man that, despite deteriorating health, his very last post on the RRF was to offer condolences to Paul Wilczynski (jingle_jangle) on the death of his mom. Such selflessness makes one feel very humble.

RIP, Ken

I am not sure how many interactions I have had here with Ken so I was hesitant to post something cloying when I read this yesterday. But the fact of the matter is that a valued member of this community has passed on and I wish his family and friends deep "heart peace" (as a friend calls it) at this uneasy time of grieving.

I have talked with Ken a few times on the phone, much of it about his illness and all that he had gone through. Still, when I finally got to meet him, and his lovely wife, Lorie (who has health issue of her own to deal with), there was nary a sign in him of the pain he was, not doubt, going through while hosting the first GilFest. I wish I had had more opportunities to have visited with Ken, but, sadly, that will not be the case. :(

R.I.P. Ken. May you be at someplace now where the troubles of the body no longer are of consequence to you.
Blessings on your continuing journey.
