Very nice! Thanks for sharing. It's always great to see how it was done.
There are some other good posts on YouTube by mjsokes with
guitar, bass, piano, and even drum parts. Check it out!

Hey, I just realized that I was at the Rickenbacker Forum and you were playing a Hofner!
Maybe we should limit the songs that you demo to the later ones played on a Ric.... :D

Great job Francesco. I'm fairly new here and just picking up on these things.

But one interesting thing about this tune in that Paul played it differently live - at least in the early days. In the verse, when he goes to A, he would go up at the 7th fret rather than dropping down to the 5th fret like he did on the recording. My guess is that he didn't want to move his hand while singing.

It took me a while to find youtube example, but here's one, unfortunately from a lipsynch performance.

You can get a brief glance in the '64 DC video, but it is amazing how the cameraman never gets a good look at Paul from the front. (Guess that's the problem of a concert in the round.)

Interestingly he now plays it like the record as seen in this 2007 video.

Wow! I just found this forum! I need to get and look around more often!

Hmm, I may need to bring a bass and practice amp to work so I can play along. :)
