I'm Only Sleeping

Post by rickinroma »

I hope everybody had some nice sleep last night :)

The original basslines are doubled employing my 1997 Fireglo Rickenbacker 4001V63 through a 1966 Super Foundation Bass amplifier.
Paul's bass is on the centre/right while my bass is on the centre/left side of the stereo

Enjoy! :)

Shoot, I had no idea this one was so intricate. I of course always noticed the solo part in the chorus but there is some beautifully tasteful playing throughout! Well done Francesco.

Another favorite McCartney bassline. I knew it was this intricate, just over my head. Very well done. I am learning from your fingering hand placements, Francesco. Thanks for these videos.

I'm only Sleeping is my all-time favorite Beatle's song. The Bass part is very elegant, it reminds me of the Bass part in "Michelle", also very elegant. Were those played in the Rickenbacker or the Hofner? I have no clue.
