I did not have the chance to do some targeted shopping yet, but I count to get it as soon as I can

I'm only a few months late in responding, but I just got the deluxe edition for Christmas from the in-laws. (only a couple of days early. Why do people complain about in-laws????? ). The deluxe book has pictures, but I don't know about the non-deluxe issues. The bass looked pretty beat in 1970. I can't imagine what it looks like now.

Is is legal to post them on the forum, or does that mess with copyright?
Congrats on a great Christmas gift!

I didn't post them for that reason, plus I have no idea how to get a good scan out of the book. At least one of the pictures in the book has been posted before: the one with McCartney playing the bass in the late 60s/early 70s while sitting down. The book also shows his recording gear for the McCartney album and there is a lot of description about the process he used. I'm not saying I'd recommend spending $65 for it, but it was a great gift. :D
