I finally agreed to tune our guitars a half step down last year after repeated requests from my bass player and rhythm guitarist, both of whom carry the brunt of lead vocals. So, the Rick 12 is now a half step lower as well. I have no idea if it makes a difference. It played fine in standard tuning.
