It's Alright. Ma

Post by kvalois »

Hi, everyone:

Has anybody ever come up with a tab for McGuinn's 1969 version of "It's Alright, Ma?" I really would love to know the fast, little run he does on the 12-string BEFORE each new verse! :D

I can figure out a good deal of it, but not all of it- exactly as he plays it!!!!

It's a lick based on a Em run consisting of hammering on 3rd fret E, 2nd fret, A, 2nd fret D, and then reverse back down using pull-offs. Does that make sense?

Thanks, Jim, for your help. I just never saw a correct tab on it. There are some "basic" tabs that are not totally accurate! :D
