Those white bedspreads bring out the colours great don't they! :)

That's one great looking Gretsch! I have a Duo-Jet with the single coil pickups and have D'Addario Chromes on with no problems...just lots of that great Gretsch sound.

Paul, do you know if the cutout for those Dyna 2000 pickups are the same as the old Dynasonics? I've got a pair of vintage Dynasonics with no guitar to put them in, and if the newer Gretsches would fir them, that woul dbe the easiest approach I think.....

Dyna 2000 pickups are flat backs, Greg. They have a metal frame protruding from the back about 1/8" and a coax cable clipped along one side of that frame. There are plastic spacers placed under them. The coax cable passed through a hole under the pickup on my old 5125, but there was no rout:

well i just got my gretsch today and wow what a tone i think im going to need another gretsch now im thinking the 5122 in walnut stain
