Wtt Gretsch 6120Jr. for a Rick

Post by jukebox »

I have a '04 Gretsch 6120 Jr. that I'm looking to trade for a Rick solidbody. I preferr one with toasters, but will consider other options. There are two small dings that are hardly visable.
Here are pictures of the 6120 Jr. Thank you.

This is a killer Gretsch, sort of in-between a Duo Jet and a full-sized Tenny. My wife loves mine, because of its full sound and petite size. It's a hollowbody, for anybody who doesn't know.

Out of all the Gretsches I've played and/or owned, the 6120 Jr. has the closest sound to a vintage Chet of any. This includes my 6122-59, which is supposedly built to emulate the sound and feel of Chet's favorite '59.

Yeah, I know, it surprised me to realize this, too. The Jr. has standard FTs and the 6122-59 has a pair of specially-wound (for vintage sound) TV Jones Trons. The Jr. is a terrific instrument and not yer run-of-the-mill Gretsch.

Anybody know of a White Falcon Jr.?
