It's not really even close, even though the pics might suggest otherwise..The CS bass color has more yellow, and this guitar is most certainly on the brown side of "cream" color..The contrast with the black binding and hardware is pretty striking in person.

It is great to see this offering in the experimental stages. Thanks for the photos Eric. I hope we hear more about the playability of this instrument once it finds a new home. I would also like to see it with vintage tuners. A very sharp instrument that should fetch a handsome price. :)

Eric...Just keep doing your thing. There will always be critics....And you know how much talent it takes to be one of those, right?

Nice! So, which era Fender amp would go best with this, White or brown Tolex®?

I'm certain you can expect a big mea culpa letter from one individual over there.

Just let them know that at least we won't have the misFortune of seeing THIS auction pulled.

The photos make the guitar look more yellow than it actually is. It is definitely not the same color as the Squire bass. Somebody else around here described it as more of an eggshell white.

Also, to be perfectly clear: This is a 360/12C63 body with a 660/12 neck with through slots on the headstock.

Looking forward to the next instrument Eric. Thanks for making me smile this morning Ben. That was pretty witty.

I don't have a neck fetish, and I've comfortabley played the 360/12 C63, but I like the 660/12 neck as well! The 660/12 neck with the C63 body is a cool combo! Props to you gents at RIC for putting one together. I like the slot through headstock on any RIC 12, btw; if I had the option of ordering a C63 with that neck combo, or even just the slotted headstock with the std C63 neck, I would!

Thanks for the posts o'plenty, Eric! I hope you can make it to SCARF! :D

Very nice! The finish looks simple, mellow (not a hot color or trans finish with highly figured wood) but classy. Would be a nice addition to Paulie's WB collection!
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)
