WHERE CAN I FIND GOLD PICKGUARD FOR 325V59?

Post by todd »

Greetings, all. I am the intensely proud owner
of a mid-80's 325v59 that is the crown jewel of
my meager collection. Sadly after 18 some odd years of fairly regular play the lucite gold painted pickguard has started to flake a little bit and I was wondering if anyone would know
where I can find a new one. Now that Ric has
stopped making the line I can't find one anywhere.
Also, any ideas on how to put some shine back into
dull gray with age tuners and B5 bigsby? Any input
or advice greatly appreciated.

Todd, try the Rick12dr...he's on this website frequently, and he made them at one time...if he can't help you, I suggest just making a trace of your old one onto a sheet of Lexan, 1/8" thick, and the gold paint is available; I can't recall who makes it at this time. Rickenbacker has changed the color of the gold slightly thru the years, and they probably make them up in batches...(when they made them...) Good Luck. Don, are ya out there?? Image
