Maybe Rick dealers should offer the "transparent shipping container" option...

Better yet, the "climate-controlled shipping container"...

I mean, don't our instruments deserve it?

I'll settle for a little humidity control! It was 21% yesterday..

... and that was an improvement as it had been less than 10% last week here in SoCal!

Those photos do a pretty good job on color.

I just called my dealer to find out about mine. They checked and it just came in today! I'll pick it up Saturday.

Oh, the pain! Still haven't heard about mine yet. All good things in time ...

I'm wondering whether it'll arrive before my 330th post. Maybe I should shut up for a couple of months!

I'm still stunned on how good this guitar is. As a great player, good action, nice finish, nice balanced tone, light weight. A bargain in todays guitar market. It will be worth thousands in the future, but I'm never selling. I bet mine will be very worn in years to come. And I won't care!!!

Huh? Ted? You do realize that 330's have the "skinny" strings, right?

I just caught this thread as I don't roam these parts much anymore. I wanted to address Eric's post. He may have developed what I think is the most butt-ugly color I've ever seen on a guitar, but he also developed what I think would be the biggest "hit" COY since Monty Brown (too bad no COY this year). A few of those other contender COYs looked pretty hot too.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so they say..Your Green Phobia is rearing its head..I predict that the "butt-ugly" color you speak of shall one day grace the sleek lines of many a Rickenbacker..When you describe it as "butt-ugly",do mean like Jessica Alba's butt? Or do you mean Rosie O'Donnell's butt?I'd say it's got more in common with the former, and I shall continue to extoll its virtues to all who will listen, and the test guitar shall forever grace the wall of my office..As for the "hit" color, well that one is nice too, especially on the 4003 :-)

"More in common with the former"...

OH GOD I PRAY TO GOD THAT IS THE CASE!

My son was able to meet Jessica and Jamie Fox when the two were filming the Movie "Stealth". My son is stationed on the USS Abraham Lincoln at that is, obviously, where the filming took place. He would agree with you Eric.
