What is the difference EXACTLY b/w the 610 and 620

what's the difference besides the triangle in-laids and the white trim on the guitar body? Is the 610 not as good as the 620? if not why?
thanks

620 has the following that the 610 does not:

1) binding
2) triangle markers
3) It has 2 jacks 1 is a regular mono and the other is stereo for what they call Ric O Sound.

The first two are cosmetic only. Ric O Sound is a stereo jack. You buy a special box from Rickenbacker and can send the treble to one amp and the bass to another amp.

Personally I don't know anyone that uses the Ric O Sound.

BTW, I have a 650 Atlantis (with humbuckers). This guitar has the mono jack only. I believe a few of the Vintage Reissues have mono only jacks too.

Electronically (with the exception of the Ric O Sound) the 610 and 620 are identical.

To paraphrase the Banditos from The Treasure of the Sarah Madres:

We don't need no stinkin' Ric O Sound.
