IF memory serves, the pickups on these were hi-gains with toaster covers over ground pole pieces, Also, these came stock with Klusons. I believe RIC was using Grovers as standard at that time...

Howdy,

My first Ricky was a "B" Series 320, just like in the promo pic. Bought it new in the Fall of 1984 here in Louisiana. I'm a huge Beatles fan. I was a 21 year old Soph. at LSU.
If I knew how to post pics, I would. At the risk of sounding immodest, I've been told that I looked like a Beatle in those days, espceically with the stunning JG 320.
I wound up using it as a back-up for lead duties in a C&W group in the mid-80's. If memory serves, it's tone was rather brittle; either too trebly or, with the tone rolled off, not enough treble!
I regret trading it for an Ampeg Dan Armstrong from 1970. I do love Rickenbacker!
