Great find!!!
here's something interesting to add. Chris Huston, the gentleman who was assisting John Lennon the day that the Bigsby and the Radio Knobs were installed all those years ago, has seen the auction and made the following nice comment on one of the better discussion online forums "Boy, this thing goes around in circles, doesn't it? And now it's back again... John and I went to a small hi-fi/radio shop on Whitechapel, just up the road from Hessey's, right after we put the Bigsby on his guitar. The shop was called Beaver Radio and the knobs in question were in the window of the store, along with a whole lot of other radio-type knobs, all wired to a piece of peg-board. John picked them out and the whole episode was over in five minutes. Now everything to do with that day - the Bigsby and the knobs - has become larger-than-life!!! Beaver Radio is still on Whitechapel, or was last time I was there, but it had moved from the original location due to the building of a bus terminal." What a great snippet of history firsthand from someone who was there and involved. Thanks for sharing that Chris
Very interesting!

Although at $130 you'd have to be crazy...

Here's one from the auction; there are several other pictures on page one of this thread:

Good luck...many have tried to replicate these and few have succeded. In fact, that eBay auction is the first I've ever seen these knobs or reproductions of these knobs for sale anywhere outside of the Japanese WITH website.

Keep us updated! If you do manage to get them made for under $100 a set, I'll buy some.

What's wrong with a set of the "Oven knobs" JL he had early on?
$10 each?

Yeah, I actually like the original oven knobs--I think they look cool, especially on a MG body. I did change my MG Lennonized 325 to Burns knobs for a short time, but then I decided to alter the experiment for a bit, and put a set of Hofner Teacups on (though I don't think these showed up on JL's guitar until after it had been painted black).

I think the cream/gold on the teacups looks awesome against the MG.

John, forgive me for straying from they path...

What did you use for enlarging the HOFNER Teacups to fit the shafts on the C58?

I used a round file.

Hi Greg, I just used my hand drill with a bit that matched (pretty close anyway), the pot post. I took a guitar polish cloth and lightly held the knobs in a vice and just widened the hole a tad.

Hello, I'm new. I have a 325V59 and I'm also trying to find the knobs. By the way, what is the WITH website.

Thanks for the help
