"Caja(s) Canarias"

Post by ricardo_vicente »

Well, the boxes are all packed and ready to be bundled into the car which will then be shipped to Tenerife. No prizes for spotting the two familiar guitar cases which have a first class seat reserved for the "mudanza" to Puerto de la Cruz.

To the right of the picture you will also see my Vox 2x12 cab which is perched on top of the AC30 head (you can't see it in the photo). Hiding in the corner is my bass and my ES-335. I'm sure my wife said I should feel free to fill the car with all my stuff because she didn't want to take anything. Or maybe I misheard her!

So, as of 7th March the forum will have one more resident of the Spanish territories. Please wish my Rickenbackers a safe journey!

Un fuerte abrazo

Ricardo "El Chicharrero" Vicente

Good news indeed, and there have been many Rickenbacker chords struck since the car arrived. It's really nice to have my own car and my favourite guitars again.
I'm just about to start advertising for other musicians to play with locally, maybe form a new band - my own version of Los Canarios! :D
