I use both Nero and Movavi Video Suite, which does audio as well.

+1 It's the 'canned' software version that came with the DVD/CD burner that I installed in my PC.ozover50 wrote:I use ... Nero ...

Nero works quite well. you could also use Windows Media Player if you're on a PC.

Thanks guys! I'm using WMP with my new Dell Studio but the file doesn't seem to convert to a CDA file it comes over as a WAV file! Is there (by chance ) something that I'm doing wrong or need to do?beatlefreak wrote:Nero works quite well. you could also use Windows Media Player if you're on a PC.

.WAV files are perfect.

but they're not being recognized by my stereo, Jeff!
Re: Converting WAV, MP3, etc files to CD
Are you creating an audio CD or a data CD that contains the .WAV files? A data CD will not work.

Hmmmmmmm. My 1985 Sony CDP-302 recognizes .WAV files just fine.
Re: Converting WAV, MP3, etc files to CD
When you burn the CD, are you doing a multi-session burn or are you closing the CD session?
A multi-session burn may not read correctly with some players.
