He wants $1100 Cdn...
Serial number is i2 7123

It needs a new r-tail piece... seems to me I remember seeing this exact same guitar in the window of a Hamilton Pawn Shop circa 1993.
I wonder if its the same one?

That was made three months before my six-string Tuxedo 620. It's in better shape, though.

I don't think there were any Tuxedo 600-series guitars. This one is a White BT - the fretboard has triangles and isn't painted.

Sorry my error... I thought Tuxedo was a generic term meaning White with Black Hardware and Trim...
Nice guitar very cheap though! And a rare beast in Canada...

My error too. Anyway it would be a swell mate for my sixer if I was flush. They look almost alike.

Looks nice and winter white to me.Id replace all Black hardware with standard issue and slap on a Trapeze with Vintage knobs and Bobs yer Uncle and Fannies yer Auntie......Nice but it justs need a wee bit of TLC....
Re: 1989 Tuxedo 620 12 in St Kitts
I dunno, I find the black trim and hardware unusual and nice - it's a very Eighties look to these. A trapeze would be nice, though. Did they make them in black?

I've seen a black-on-black 320...so it's probably safe to say that at least a JG 620 BTs were made!kiramdear wrote:I dunno, I find the black trim and hardware unusual and nice - it's a very Eighties look to these. A trapeze would be nice, though. Did they make them in black?
I like the look too...but it would be hard to convince myself to pick a guitar I knew was going to turn yellow.
Re: 1989 Tuxedo 620 12 in St Kitts
My 620 is well-yellowed in places. Much more than the one above. All in all I find it not a bad effect; after all it is twenty years old now. But I can see how it wouldn't appeal to everyone. Mine is slated for conversion and refinish, incidentally, but not because of the yellowing.
