North San Diego Museum event

Post by johnhall »

OK, it's not a confluence but there's certainly RIC content!

As a member of the board of directors, I'll be there tonight for the VIP event; if you were invited, please say hi!

The Saturday event is open to the public and I'll be there first thing in the morning as well.

One of the new galleries uses the Rickenbacker Frying Pan as the symbol of a new era in music and there's also a vintage lap steel as part of the hands-on, interactive exhibit.

Looks really cool John... Have a great opening night... Or break a leg as we theatre folk say...

I really like the motto for the exhibition! "Every tradition was once an innovation"...

I like that folks get to touch and hear the instruments!

Is this a new 4003?

Are any San Diegans going to this?! I would if I could, but I'm stuck in the OC/LA area with commitments this weekend. This looks killer. I know we have some San Diego people on forum. Please go and report back. . . . with photos! :D
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."
