A one off

Post by royclough »

Back in 1995 there was a radio show, in UK, broadcast from Liverpool to celebrate the 50th anniversary of VE day. For some reason Searchers were asked to perform, perhaps the organisers thought they had been going since 40s!

To keep in with the theme they did two numbers Over There and Swinging On A Star and I doubt they did them again ever.

Over There, a odd choice in some ways as the song was written in 1917 to boost morale of American troops, though it did feature in the James Cagney movie Yankee Doodle Dandy in 1942.

Anyway here is Over There if anyone wants Swinging On A Star just say I'll post.
