Do you have matching chaps?
Nah, I never cared for the woollies. Pick up too many burrs and stickers in the brush...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Has anyone come up with skunkstripes as a new feature for the basses yet?

Fender will be coming with automatic "robot" tuning like we have on the Gibson robots! Located on the headstock, fully retrofittable to real tuners. Funny thing is... this is not even a joke
Will they come out the device that moves your fingers for you so can play anything without practice or effort next year?
Their working on it, but only have "Mustang Sally" perfected.

Since it's always held in California, I'd say the odds are unchanged.

When was that? 1965? :?: Holding winter NAMM in Philly doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Imagine all those unopened cases that need to acclimatise in the heated rooms

Anyone from out of town staying in So Cal for a while after the show? Just wondering because we usually have a mandatory post NAMM mini jam in honor of any travelers that hang around after NAMM.

Well, the lines there might be shorter than usual...they're predicting a chance of rain Sunday.

Yep, a Post-NAMM Jam for our distinguished visiting RRF out-of-towners would be cool, and keeping with the tradition !! :D

When we were out for the 2010 show it rained the Wednesday before (we went to Targée to get an umbrella for the rest of the trip), and I recall Sunday through the time we left to come home on Tuesday morning to be especially bleak. The plane had to wait about an hour at the gate after we all loaded before we could leave as a tornado (IIRC) was spotted near the area!
