Cave Passive Pedals, does anyone want a free test drive?

Post by weemac »

I don't know If I'm allowed to do this:
I'll be straight. I'm an endorser of Cave Passive Pedals and I do it because they sound good and are great value. Heath Cave is a great guy and he has the support of his wife with his little cottage pedal industry.
The Grunt is the basic entry level pedal but it is also one of the best of them. It is a clean booster with a mid kick plus it has an overdrive that sounds alot like a classic bass amp going on the tilt..

What I would like to do is to get one and then send it on a tour of the RRF Bass fraternity... How it works is we get a list of folks who want to try it out and organise the list so the post takes the shortest path to the next test driver. Once a person gets the pedal in the post he PMs the next one on the list for their address. Once finished with the test drive the pedal gets sent to the next person...
Each driver should test the pedal for a couple of days a to get a feel for it and then post their thoughts on a seperate thread that I will start..

I will do a Demo Vid of the pedal to demonstrate its quirks so folks can test it with some idea of how it is meant to work...

Does anyone want a free test drive of My favorite Bass Booster?overdrive that uses no batteries?

I'll bite but I think you better line up a few testers in between!

How does it passively boost a signal?

I'd be glad to know more about the pedals and if no one else in the Colorado Rockies area wants to try this I'll be glad to. If timing is right I can gig or record with it and get some clips.

It would be fun to take a look at 'em. Not sure I'd have a lot of time to really test them out right now though...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I think it would be sweet to try it with my Hofner! Put me on the mailing list please! Thanks. This is a great opportunity, I think this guy is a genius for making a passive pedal. Mean Mr. Mustard, here I come!
