Thanks, folks! :D Just came back from a good Irish meal, and I talked with the other guy who was born 5 minutes before me.  he even looks a bit like me!

Tomorrow evening we are going to see Blue Sky Riders, at the R&RHOF&M, first time that we will have stepped foot in that place.

Yup, I know how you feel. I've lived in Kansas for 41 years, and I've yet to see the World's Largest Ball of Twine.
Happy birthday, Jeff.

When I lived in Los Angeles, in the '80s, I got to know a guy who was an avid nature lover and camper who had been living there about 15 years, or so. During my 6 years there I had gone up to Yosemite Nat'l Park about 15 times, he moved to Atlanta and never got there (to Yosemite, that is!). :?

Sorry I missed your birthday Jeff. The joys of traveling are many, but missing out on important stuff to do or say is not one of them. I hope you had a great day.

We had a great time at the Rock Hall, this evening! The band was great, excellent harmonies, they really can sing without autotune.

I saw a nice bunch of Ricks, too. :D

Cliff Burton's 4001
John Lennon's 325/12
Carl Wilson's 360/12
Mike Rutherford's custom doubleneck
George Harrison's 425
Rick James' 4001

There may have been others, I can't recall as there were so many other great instruments, also. A highlight for me was Jack Casady's Alembicized Guild Starfire bass 8), not to mention, John Paul Jones' 8 string Alembic, and Lennon's Mellotron!
