:D
Well, if you can't make this one, there's also December 8th. I'm sure there will be more events next year. 8)

Anyone for some Jazz Standards ?
We have an inquiry from one of our participants if there are others who might enjoy playing a few Jazz Standards at the Ricktoberfest® ? :)

I vote for Giant Steps. That should be an easy song for those rockers and mods to get a handle on.

Ricktoberfest® II - Oct 20th Malone's

Postby (8mileshigher) » Fri Oct 05, 2012 4:05 pm

Further on the topic of a few Jazz Standards -- we have these suggestions put forward by Jim from Malibu, who would like to play his Ric Fretless Bass on these numbers and looking for some guitarists, keyboards, drums, etc. to join in

All from the Real Book #1:

Autumn Leaves
Beautiful Love
All Blues
Days of Wine and Roses
Have You Met Miss Jones
Wave
Yardbird Suite
Stella By Starlight
Alone Together

He has added these Jazz songs to the Google song list, so please sign-on if interested.

Would those allow him to move to Nebraska?
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
