Anyone use a Boss ME-6?

I just bought a Boss ME-6 multi-effect pedal. I am using it with a 330-6 and a Vox AD50VT amp. Most of the effects on the Boss sound great and don't muck up the sound, but the over - easy distortion has some kind of nasty equalization going on that I can't take out with the onboard EQ controls. HAs anyone used this pedal and have some tips on improving the tone of the light distortion? The heavy distortion sounds great. I may end up just using the distortion on the Vox, that sounds fantastic.

Well, I ended up setting the Manual mode on the Vox amp as a clean channel and I will use that when I use the effects on the ME-6. I set the amp up for my easy over distortion and saved that in Channel 1 and set Channel 2 up for tremelo that I use on one song. When I get the foot switch for the amp, I'll switch between Ch1 and Ch2 with the foot switch. So my problem is solved but if anyone does know how to get a good easy over distortion out of the ME-6 I'd love to know.
