330S in Tobaccoglo 2012 - Limited Run

Post by libratune »

As first posted by Kevin, see RIC FB Photo site for a pic of this new finish color, with f-hole, black plastic and vintage knobs: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater

Also discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=106&t=407727

A few have shown up on ebay, some dealers have them on order.

This guitar has all the right stuff -- and purchased from a dealer, yet!

Congratulations Ron!

I think these guitars look great.

The fretboard on the one in your picture has amazing grain too.

Quite simply a knockout. Well done Ben! Love the 21 frets too. I'm thinking a nickname such as "Bad Boy."
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Congratulations Ron! Gorgeous guitar with 21 frets, f-hole, X bracing, and Toasters. :D

Mine arrived yesterday and will be opened later today. I hope it looks as good as yours.

Congrats Ron, that looks fantastic!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Wow! That is WAY nicer than what all the previous photos showed (wonky f-hole notwithstanding)! Congrats Ron!

I'd love to see one with white guards/TRC.

I am thinking gold plexi guards and TRC might work well too.

Gold was the second option, but ultimately we all agreed that black looked the best. White looks awful.

Since this is the same body as Tom's recent Ricks, maybe, for the anoraks, this should just be known as the Petty F-hole?

So shall it be written... :)

Ron - if you get a chance, I'd love to see a side-by-side shot with a "Moonglo" 1997.

I'd love to see more of these x-braced six stringers come out.
