They're a bit pricey. These Sony headphones might be more your speed, they're a bargain at $4,000. Leather case included.

Well I've listened to the solo HDs and I wasn't impressed, the Studios on the other hand were indeed impressive, if the Pros are that much of a step above the Studios, Wow! I think a trip to hear others is in order. Bottom line I have to upgrade my silent running practice gear.

KRK KNS 8400 is what I use - they're simply good. They fit well; I can wear them hours on end without issues, and best of all, they have a realistic bass level, which is one of the tests it had to pass when I first tried them.
