Rickenbacker M10 amp schematic?

Rickenbacker M10 amp
Rickenbacker M10 amp
Hi all - I just acquired this older (1930s or 40s?) M10 amp. It has 3 tubes installed: 5Y3, 6SC7 and a 6L6. I'm looking for a schematic. Specifically I am trying to find out if the amp was originally designed for a 6V6 (and someone replaced it with a 6L6) or if the 6L6 that's in there now is the original tube specified for that amp. I'll appreciate any help.

My guess would be 6V6 with that 5Y3 rectifier. :?

Agreed, definitely a 6V6.

Here is a picture of the M-10

Hi everyone. I am a new member here. Unfortunately my response is not a solution to the original query but another request for a schematic for an M-10, although this is a different M-10. This is a an all metal cabinet that has a 5V4 rectifier, (2) 6V6, and a 6N7. I want to return this amp to it's original circuit. Someone has been in previously and changed it (I think) I cannot find an equivalent circuit. There doesn't seem to be a schematic on the internet for this amp but there are plenty of pictures of them so it seems that they are out there. My request is that someone who has one of these take a snapshot of the inside of the chassis, especially a closeup of the 6N7. The rest of the amp is pretty straight forward. I could draw a schematic from the picture and my amp and post it up here on the forum. Thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge and passion.

Here's a screenshot of a diagram I made of my Rickenbacker M10 - different from your amp but the 6SN7 preamp section may be identical. This is a low res screen shot, I have the file on my other drive, I can look for it and post it. - Dan

Thanks Ron,

What I was actually hoping for was a pic of the "guts"—inside the chassis not the cabinet. I realize this would require a bit of work on your part, BUT if you are up for it I would be most appreciative.

Thanks for the replies,

Marty

Marty

I have some inside photos on my M10 - it's different from your model, but maybe has some helpful information. The 6SN7 is on the right when looking at the components.
