What guitar is this that Mark is playing?

I thinks its a Pensa-Suhr as described here.

Well, why didn't I think of that?!?!?!?!?

One of my favorite guitarists plays one going back to the early '80s.



How many guitarists do you know that still plays the same guitars since way back? He also has a couple of Gibson Chet Atkins guitars that he has used since way back in the mid '80s when I first learned of Chieli.

On the 2005 tour stop in Nashville, they drug two of Chet's guitars out of the Country Music Hall of fame for him and Richard Bennett to use on a couple songs. Sounded every bit like Knopfler and nothing like Chet's tone on those beautiful machines.
