I saw these guys open for the Who during their "Farewell" tour in 1982 in the Cotton Bowl. They were quite good IMHO...
I bought that "Worlds Apart" album when it came out, and I've still got it in vinyl, I believe....

I saw The Who's "Farewell" tour, too, but I thought it was in 1983.

Perhaps it was their second "Farewell" tour that I saw?

Or the tail end of the one you went to.

Yeah, this one I saw at the Cotton Bowl was in early December of 1982, if memory serves....
'Course, The Who had a BUNCH of "farewell tours" after that time, apparently for Entwistle's benefit...
