Humbucker Equipped 360
I want to give a shout out to Dane Wilder for his wiring harness that I had installed in my 360 LH MG. I've had the HB pickups in the guitar for some ten plus years. However, with Dane's harness, it sounds even better than before.

Re: Humbucker Equipped 360
I installed RIC HBs in a JG Carl Wilson 6 string years ago but it didn't sound good to my ears. I'm sure that Dane's wiring harness was the difference,
Re: Humbucker Equipped 360
It's amazing how the right pots make those HB's come alive. Can't believe RIC doesn't use them. I owned several 650's and never liked the sound until I got such a harness in my latest Atlantis. It's all over the new recordings I have coming out soon.

Re: Humbucker Equipped 360
had some time to pop Dane's harness in... and can defnitely recommend them. His loom was so clean, the stock one, uhm, elementary school project messy.
Weird is that with stock harness on my 360 the high E dropped out halfway through the acoustic ring. Also some other strings just were not sounding right. After I popped Dane's loom in things sound louder, more dynamic right from first strum. On stock harness I almost never selected just the bridge PU as that sounded too nasal and muddy but am happy with it now, more usefull sounds. I could name a zillion differences, but Dane's loom wins on all fronts. On bridge I finally got some real good jangly chimes on clean AC30... if you could see my grin you'd all be running to Dane, seriously, this is a worthy investment for your Rickie!

John, your 360 CW JG is what gave me the idea of installing the HBs in my 360.jwilli wrote:I installed RIC HBs in a JG Carl Wilson 6 string years ago but it didn't sound good to my ears. I'm sure that Dane's wiring harness was the difference,
