Oh wow, that's awful news. I hadn't heard from Craig in a few years, since things quieted down on the RRF, so this is a total surprise.

RIP, he will be missed.

Some info for those who knew Craig:

Last September he had surgery to remove a tumor on his pancreas as well as part of his stomach, small intestines and gall bladder.

The cancer had spread and was malignant. He started the first of 10 rounds of chemo in October which contiued into February.

(In January Craig contacted me about buying a guitar. No surprise there!)

March 3 he went into hospice and thanked everyone for their support throughout his ordeal.

Craig was gracious and kept his good humor while facing this heartbreaking situation for him and his family.

We had spoken, occasionally, over the telephone, nice guy. He bought my ex-Kevin Kuney '98 360V64 which I think ended up in the UK with one of the guys there that used to frequent the RRF.

That is sad news. Craig had a great appetite for the factory “one-offs” and caused a real buzz of excitement around their release. I bought one guitar from Craig when he patiently honoured my first dibs, despite the clamour for it. I liked that he did that. It turned out to be a cracker. Thank you Craig.

Very sorry to hear of Craig’s passing. I too have had conversations with him through the years on the RRF and he was an enthusiast without doubt. Prayers to his family.
