Rickenbacker 325c64
I welcomed a new Rickenbacker 325c64 home yesterday, and although I can understand some of the quirks you read about (can get a little buzzy, and tuning not quite as stable as the trapeze- or R- tailpiece (and why some chose to switch these out), it's a fun guitar to play! It is it's own kind of thing: quite small, has more "chunk/bottom end growl" than my other Rickenbacker guitars, and getting the John Lennon and John Fogerty sound is as simple as plugging it into the amp. I did have to adjust to the shorter scale for a few minutes, but it does come together and opens up other ways of playing (and sometimes does feel a bit cramped). I wouldn't want this as my first or only Rickenbacker guitar (wouldn't want just one anyhow), but it has a personality all of it's own and I'm really looking forward to spending more time getting to know it's ins- and outs- and just have fun playing the beautiful little thing
Re: Rickenbacker 325c64
Yeah I've got a new 325C64 and I'm getting to like it more than my classic 60s Stratocaster. I have small hands and the short scale fits me just fine. If it was good enough for Lennon then its good enough for me. Its fast becoming my favorite guitar. I find my self playing it most of the time. Wish I had got one sooner.

Heck I'm thinking about getting a 325C58 so I will have both of them.
