"Europe" has had several special editions for distribution there, including the "Fire Alarm Red" 4003 with maple fingerboard and checker binding, distributed by Musik Meyer GmbH, and the "Walnutglo" distributed by Rosetti Limited. These were shown in the Second Edition of the book, and there may have been others since then.

It's exactly like my '05 Monte except for the checkerboard binding and push/pull pot. It's a great colour. Love my 4003.

Re: Yet another special run
Yes, I know about these. I didn't like the FAR because it had the maple fingerboard, but I missed the chance to buy a WG 4003 and the more recent British Racing Green UK edition. Being in Italy, there is some difficulties to have them, because they are reserved by their distributors for their countries.bassduke49 wrote:"Europe" has had several special editions for distribution there, including the "Fire Alarm Red" 4003 with maple fingerboard and checker binding, distributed by Musik Meyer GmbH, and the "Walnutglo" distributed by Rosetti Limited.
