I come from a strat background?
Love the looks of the 620 but never played one.
1.What does it excel at or does it do it all?
2. Are they noisy, or are they shielded well? I had to put shielding and copper foil in my 4003 bass to silence it.
3. Are there any common quirks or problems with them?
Thanks for the info.

I can't predict whether you'll like a 620 or not, but I love mine! They're very versatile, underrated guitars. I would recommend playing one in a guitar store if possible, to see if you like the feel of the neck and the sound. Good luck!

If you are a close minded sort, then no. Otherwise, just watch these videos and determine if you can do it, too. The second one is not a 620, but close enough for R&R.lumgimfong wrote:Will I like a 620 electric if...I come from a strat background?

Can you this kind of justice to one?

The 660 model has a wider neck and fancier appointments. I have a 610, the "s" version of the 620 and love it.

We downsized in the current tribute project and went from a 660 to a 620. Sigh. Needless to say, I wish I hadn't sold the 660, but what do you do? Love the sound of the 620, but the 660 was much more fun to play, for obvious reasons!

I love my 620. I find the body and neck very comfortable. I just put a mastery bridge on it, mainly because I got one used locally, but now I like it even better
