'Alfie' by Rya

Post by Rya »

'Alfie' was recorded using much the same set up as my previous recordings. It's one guitar, bass, drums, organ, and 2 vocals. As always, the guitar used is my Rick 330.
I like to write short songs and if I can write a song that has the traditional structure of verse, chorus, middle 8, and still come in at around 2 minutes then I'm happy.
This song was lyrically influenced by the Michael Caine film of the same title and musically by a lot of Northern Soul records I've been playing lately.

Soon to be available on Spotify, iTunes, and all the usual places, but for now here are links to YouTube and Soundcloud.

I hope you enjoy the song and, as always, feedback is always welcome. Happy Easter!

Stuart: Alfie is well-crafted and I love the performance and the tone of the Model 330. The harmonies are excellent. Thanks for thinking of us and for adding it here on Recordings by RRF members. Your efforts are most appreciated.

Thanks for you enthusiasm and nice work. We are always looking for RRF members that record using Rickenbackers.
