Vampire Weekend

Post by doctorwho »

The band was on a recent Austin Ciry Limits, and it looked like the bass player was using a 4003W. I tried to take a picture or two of the TV screen when the episode was rerun, so I will see if the pics are good enough to post once I get them out of the camera and onto the computer..

Yep, Chris Baio. He has a couple of Ricks, and was recently at the factory IIRC.

For the longest time he played a rare late 60s “Kustom” bass. So it was surprising to see him with a Rick. VW’s lead singer and guitarist Ezra Koenig plays a Rick on occasion as well.

Wow Black Friday and a Vampire Weekend. A dark theme to be sure.
