Nice Sunn you have there! I had a 2nd Generation Concert Amp in the mid '70s.daveman wrote:Happy Birthday to mine! I purchased my 4001 bass on June 25, 1973 at Terminal Music, 48th St. in Manhattan. 47 years of faithful service and only one refret!
Re: My Rickenbacker Anniversary
Thanks guys! I still haul that Sunn rig out a few times a year. (Overkill for a bar gig!) The bass is in very good shape indeed. Those 2 purchases were among my best decisions in the 70's!

Sweet 4001!daveman wrote:Happy Birthday to mine! I purchased my 4001 bass on June 25, 1973 at Terminal Music, 48th St. in Manhattan. 47 years of faithful service and only one refret!
I don't remember Ternimal Music on 48th St. in Manhattan. I guess jit was just before my time?
I remermber We Buy & Sell, Manny's Alex Music, 48th Street Guitars, Rudy's Music Stop, Electro-Harmonix and Sam Ash.
I haven't been to Manhattan in a few years, but from what I know, they're ALL gone now.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!
