R-Tailpiece exploded...

Hi everybody!

Apparently, the R-tailpiece curse struck again

Here's my 1991 360/12:

I've tried getting in touch with Rickenbacker, unfortunately, to no avail.

I was pointed to an online dealer selling trapeze tailpiece conversion kits, but those just don't do it for me...I love the R, and would love even more seeing an original one back on my guitar.

Any suggestions?

My advice is to keep trying Rickenbacker. Phone them or email them. I don't know if Chris at Pick Of The Ricks is still doing the swaps, but maybe call or email him. I did my R tailpiece swap through Pick Of The Ricks. Send him the old one and a hundred or so bucks for the new one, and there you have it.

I've just received an email from customer service stating they'll gladly help once they return from Summer break.
Well...I guess now I'll happily go with the official route.
Will keep you posted and, of course, send pics!
