Beatles trivia question of the century.... who the hell is the guy who wanders on stage at the end of this song
(which, as we know, was cut from the final edit of AHDN)

Photos of the Fab 4 never grow old.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Stumbled into a good article explaining some of the technical details about the Beatles' Hollywood Bowl perfomances, various attempts at creating a live album from the recordings and how Giles Martin's team was able to come up with the version that was released in 2016.

By the way Brammy, who is that guy in the Can't Do That picture?

I've really enjoyed reading that article. For some reason, though, none of the pictures that form part of it are showing for me - just white placeholders with "MIX" on them. Same result in 3 different browsers, and it's not a cookie issue. Looks like they've just taken the photos down - shame!

Same for me on my Linux Mint system (so it's probably not an OS issue, either), so I think that your conclusion is correct.

Here are a couple of Beatles performances that I’ve seen bits of, but I’ve not seen in their entirety before. The first video was posted two weeks ago. It’s The Beatles live on August 1, 1965. The video runs 17.5 minutes and they do 7 songs. This video has the best camera work and sound of any early, live Beatle performance I’ve seen. Very high quality. And they nail every song. Paul does the first Beatles solo performance ever. John is rocking his 325. Unfortunately, no George Harrison song in the set.

The second video is from June 1966. It runs 18.5 minutes and they do 9 songs. There are some technical issues with this one but overall pretty good quality. No Ric content, they’re playing their Casinos. But thought I’d post it anyway.
