How long has it been

Post by thx1955 »

Just realised that next year I'll have been an RRF member for 20 years, it literally seems like only yesterday.

That said, who's coming up on various anniversaries here at the RRF:

Almost 20 for me, too. Doesn't seem possible... all that time, and I still can't play this thing very well.

Same for me, just passed 17 years. I signed up here while looking for information about my '72. That's when I started to get confused about the changes in features, when they changed, all the confusing names - remember "Bloodstar"? Looking here and other websites of the early oughts made me realize that there was a lot of inconsistencies in the information. That all led to the book. Man time flies!

Oops, hit the wrong button, coming up on 20 years in February for me.

Maybe someone can fix it for me.

Thanks for providing such a great online resource.

So when do you suppose I'm no longer a junior member?

Here from the beginning and continuing to enjoy the posts of others including the registration of more than 40,000 Rickenbacker instruments over the past 20 years. Thanks to everyone who continues to support the RRF.

When was the actual date the site went live (if you know) , or was it on "July 5th, 2000, 1:00 am"

As with some of the others in this thread, so far, it's been over 17 years for me.

My RRF date is pretty late, like 2005 or something, but if we count AGR... the oldest post I can find by me is December 1999.

It was fifteen last March , I had been looking for a 4001 for some years . Not many came up for sale here in Nova Scotia but I finally managed to find the one . I still have it !
